Black Market Fetus
In Defence
split
Pretty much the sickest split of the summer, this team-up of Black Market Fetus and In Defence features the first new BMF recording in four years.
Black Market Fetus — perhaps Iowa's best and longest running band — plays fast-paced, trashed-out punk with heavy metal overtones. The band's earlier records fit in on the labels Six Weeks and First Blood Family and teamed up on other splits with Impailer, Wasteoid, Discider, Bodies Lay Broken, In Loving Memory and others.
In Defence is made up of some straight up youth-crew styled posi-thrash dudes from Minneapolis. This follows up on past releases, from Give Praise Records and Get Outta Town Records, a previous 7-inch and splits with Birds of a Feather and Guns N Rosa Parks.
We're pleased to put out (yet another) killer midwest hardcore split and one on which both bands have tracks explaining the crucial nature of tacos and the bogus raunch of pizza. The perfect record for an evening of tacos and carnage.
600 copies pressed, 300 on red vinyl, 300 on black vinyl copies. 100 of the red-vinyl copies are part of a cloth-cover editions for the Black Market Fetus/In Defence summer tour.
